Avail Faucet

Step-by-Step Guide for Claiming AVL Tokens From the Faucet

The following guide walks you through the process of claiming tokens from the Avail faucet. Claiming is restricted to users who have a Gitcoin Passport. To create a passport, please have a look at Creating a Gitcoin Passport and Verifying Gitcoin Passport.

Please Note

You need a Gitcoin Passport with a score of at least 20 to claim tokens from the Avail faucet. Additionally, the faucet has a cooldown period. You can use it every 3 hours.

Avail Faucet

Avail has introduced a mandatory verification process based on Gitcoin Passport to prevent spam and to ensure testnet tokens are distributed in a fair manner. Once you have verified your Gitcoin Passport, you can claim tokens from the faucet.

The following guide will show you how to use the faucet.

Navigate to Faucet Channel

Please navigate to the #goldberg-faucet channel in the Avail Discord server.

Request Tokens

In the next step, you can use the command /deposit "your-address" to request AVL tokens. Be sure to replace “your-address” with your wallet address.

Please Note

The faucet always says its pending. Please check your wallet for the completed transaction.

Important
