Introducing the Network Explorer

The Goldberg Testnet Explorer is a great tool for exploring the Avail network and interacting with it. It can be used by end-users, developers, and validators alike. The explorer provides key tools for inspecting network activities (such as transactions), managing accounts, participating in network governance, and more.

The following will walk you through the explorer’s key features.

Recent Blocks Overview

The landing page of the explorer provides you with an overview of the most recently produced blocks. This section allows you to monitor activity of the Avail network in real-time.

Block Details

If you want to learn more about a specific block, simply click on it. This opens a detailed view of the block which includes transactions, validators, and more.

Avail Accounts

With the help of the Avail explorer, you can create, manage, and recover accounts. It also allows you to execute transactions, stake tokens, etc.

Governance

The Avail explorer provides governance participants with the tools to become active participants in the network. This ranges from tools for creating proposals to staking tokens.

Advanced Features

Advanced users and developers can also use the explorer for manual transactions and RPC calls as well as debugging.

Confidence Score

The latest blocks shown in the explorer may not display a confidence score until data availablity is verified. This is done by using a light client that performs Data Availability Sampling (DAS).
